The Athlete Factory is an Elite Performance Centre offering programs for high performance athletes and youth development. We also offer personal training services and have an on-site Sports Therapy clinic.

POSITION TITLE: Strength & Conditioning Coach / NOC: Coach 5252
REPORTS TO: Head of Strength & Conditioning

The Athlete Factory is currently seeking Strength & Conditioning Coaches for our Elite Performance Centre. We require highly self-motivated team players that are interested in building a career working with athletes from grass roots to the professional and Olympic levels. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a passion for sports science, collaboration, cutting-edge research and continual development.


  • Strength & conditioning for athletes and personal training clients
  • Coach athletes, lead groups and clients on The Athlete Factory philosophy and techniques.
  • Highly self-motivated team player and leader of athletes, teams, coaches.
  • Ensure the culture of The Athlete Factory is upheld and improved
  • Design, implementation and on-going monitoring and re-evaluation of programming to ensure optimal results.
  • Data analysis and write progress reports on athletes performances.
  • Report to Team leaders and head coach
  • Liaising with athletes’ parents, sports coaches and sports therapists.
  • 2nd phase injury rehabilitation and adapting training to special needs athletes / clients
  • Developing a personal training business, schedule clients training sessions and entrepreneurial skills for business management.
  • Conduct presentations on The Athlete Factory methodology to varying groups / events.
  • Coordinate events for athlete participation to create awareness of strength and conditioning
  • Establishing connections with sport organisations, clubs, communities to develop awareness and information on strength and conditioning value and the uniqueness of The Athlete Factory
  • Participation in regular meetings and development sessions, including selected/personal research and presentations
  • Remaining active in technical expertise, professional development and current expert knowledge in the field
  • Provide lifestyle advice to clients and athletes to achieve goals.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required. Enforce safety rules and regulations

  • Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training qualifications / certifications is an asset
  • Coaching experience (5-7 years previous coaching / personal training experience is a strong advantage)
  • Degree qualification is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Sales / Promotional experience is an asset
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Experience in a high level of data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in high level sports is an asset
  • First Aid Certification is an asset



 Full time: Potential for a permanency based on performance in first three months of development
 Contractor position (flat fee rent, high earning potential based on assessment and business development)
 Minimum starting wage is $15/hour
 Language: Fluent English is required
