Amanda Ballas started her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Grant MacEwan University, where she graduated with honors. She was fortunate to mentor with Dr. David Chu for 4 years post graduate to enhance her skills and practice. Her studies continued with 2 more years of Chinese Herbal studies through the U.S., as well as multiple Sport Medicine Courses with Matt Callison, L.Ac.
Amanda has special interests in Functional Fitness, Chronic and Acute Pain, Sports Injuries, Biomechanical Lumbo-Pelvic positioning, Headaches/Migraines, Women’s Health, Mental Health, and Complex Conditions.
When not in clinic, Amanda can be found living an active lifestyle following her son’s sports teams, Non-Stop-Mom-ing, spending time with her family and on the water with her seasonal Paddleboard business.
