Since being introduced to sport at a young age Kyle has always had a passion for sports. He has competed in sports all his life. In high school he was involved in various sports, focusing mostly on basketball and football. After high school he went to the University of Saskatchewan and found a new sport focus with track and field. Kyle was a high performance athlete for the University of Saskatchewan in track and field, where he won CanWest championships in the 300 m, 4×200 and 4×400, and a bronze medal at the CIS Championships in the 4×200. After his track career was over he needed to find a new outlet for competition and was introduced to the sport of skeleton. He is on the developmental team for Skeleton Canada. He is a former teacher who loves making an impact in athletes’ lives. He originally entered the teaching profession to be able to coach athletes and has now found a true way to benefit athletes. Kyle looks forward to impart his passion into other athletes and help them achieve their goals and dreams with the help of the Athlete Factory.
