Since high school, Nick always knew he wanted to train athletes to be all they could be in their chosen sport. This led him to pursue a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta, and moving to Calgary to pursue an apprenticeship at The Athlete Factory in late 2012. Since then, Nick has worked with 100s of athletes of various background; ranging from athletes as young as 6 all the way up to Olympic and Professional athletes.
Nick also has extensive second phase rehab experience, which is seldom seen in North America. He has successfully helped many clients and athletes with issues ranging from backs, knees, hip replacements, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis and many other soft tissue injuries.
In 2015, Nick began his pursuit of higher education in an effort to back up his practical expertise with scientific literature. He is currently enrolled in his Professional Doctorate of Elite Performance at The University of Central Lancashire in England, looking at Lumbopelvic Integrity and how to better translate traditional strength training methods to field sport athletes.
With his passion for training and sport, Nick has found the perfect place in The Athlete Factory to achieve his goals of developing world-class athletes, while simultaneously improving his knowledge and expertise in the strength and conditioning domain.
